Day 1. Bagdogra- Phuentsholing
Arrive at Bagdogra airpot,transfer to phuentsholing. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing,vist the city and Zangdopelri which is located in the center town.
Day 2. Phuentsholing-Thimphu (Altitude2,400mts|180km|6hrs drive)
After breakfast check out from the hotel, complete the immigration formalities and transfer toThimphu(7,710ft) the capital city of Bhutan. On the way visit the famous Gedu stupa, Wangkha waterfall and halt at Chuzom to take a break for a washroom and photographs of the three mountains and three river which connects. Head towards the capital city on arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening you can visit the beautiful view, peaceful city.Overnight stay at Thimphu arrival check in at the hotel.
Day 3. Thimphu (Local sightseeing)
After the breakfast start your day with sightseeing at Thimphu by visiting Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Point), Hindu temple, Memorial chorten,Simply Bhutan, paper factory, Folk Heritage, National painting school and handicraft bazar. Later visit Tashichoe Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion) in the evening.Overnight stay at Thimphu hotel.
Day 4. Thimphu – Phobjikha (Altitude 3000mts/146km/6hrs)
After breakfast drive to Punakha via Dochula pass, take a break to click pictures and also for tea and coffee. After that transfer to Phobjikha valley which is a vast U-shaped valley in the central Bhutan. The valley houses one of the impressive ancient Buddhist monasteries in Bhutan known as Gangtey Goempa of Nyingma sect inn central Bhutan. Overnight stay at Phobjikha.
Day 5. Phobjikha sightseeing
After breakfast visit Gangtey Monastery also known as Gangtey Goenpa on a spur surrounded by the village of Gangtey. Evening relax time,stay at hotel.
Day 6. Phobjikha- Bumthang
After the breakfast, drive to Bumthang. So, in Bhutan, we call the Bumthangb valley as a second Switzerland. The main town of Bumthang valley is Jakar. On arrival check in hotel, evening explore town and visit some local shops, restaurant to get hot soup and authentic street foods. Overnight stay at Bumthang.
Day 7. Bumthang sightseeing
After breakfast visit many holy sacred sites such as Kurjey Lhakhang, which holds a body print of Guru Rinpoche, Jambay Lhakhang one of the oldest temple built in 7th century by the Tibetan king Songten Gampo in one night and Tamshing Lhakhang established by the treasure discover Terton Pema Lingpa. After that visit one of the famous lake called the Menbar Tsho a burning Lake, history all connected with the Terton Pema Lingpa lastly visit the Lhodrak Karchung Monastery which overlooks Jakar. Evening relax and overstay at hotel.
Day 8. Bumthang to Punakha
After the breakfast drive to Punakha, on arrival visit Punakha Dzong- built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. The fortress is called as Punthang dewachen me phodrang which the fortress of a Great Happiness. Punakha Dzong was one a site which the Government was once ruled by the Monarchs. After that visit suspension bridge which is one of the longest bridge in Bhutan. Overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 9. Punakha to Paro
After breakfast drive from Punakha to Paro, on the way to Paro visit
Tachog Lhakhang (Iron Bridge) and on arrival check in hotel.
Day 10. Paro (Tiger nest)
Rise and shine after the breakfast drive to Paro visit Tiger Nest monastery called as Taktsang. Its 3-4hrs hike, ponies service is there if you want to take optional. Evening visit Ta dzong and Rinpung Dzong. Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 11. Paro – Phuentsholing
After the breakfast check out of your hotel and transfer to the Phuentsholing, on the way visit Paro Airport View. On arrival change the vehicle and proceed fro your onward journey.
